Node 9229, *TECHLINK* on the Echolink service is a privately owned conference on a publicly accessable system. The purpose of the conference is to allow licensed amateur radio operators to participate in our nets, or in the absence of a net to chew the rag with fellow hams. If you are registered as a link or repeater please ask permission to join.
Conferences (or conferenced users, repeaters or links) are required to seek permission to link with *TECHLINK* without which access may be declined. When another conferenced system joins our nets we require an active control operator for that system. Echolinks conference rules are at Conference Servers
*TECHLINK* has four administrators. John (VK3HJQ), Laurie-Anne (VE6YLA), Aaron (VE6TDS), and myself (VE6UX). On the very rare occasion that an operator is banned they must communicate with the administrator that banned them. Bans put in place by one of us can only be removed by the person that applied the ban. Any operator who is regular to the conference and would like to assist can request the Sysop (system operator) password.A link to my email (ve6ux) is available on QRZ or in the contact section of this site.
